The interview in KL is still going on? But the website stated that it has been postponed till further notice.

Anyway i dont think they have retrenched people, especially cabin crew.
Many of them are on standby modes but not retrenched.
Even the pilots are taking no pay leave.

The KL interview i saw it from one of the forum author. Just checked the
singaporeair site. It's being postpone. In that case i don't think they'll be
having any interviews bah. sorry.

No need to apologise. Cargo..... tough life la, but at least can get to fly some interesting places, and don't have to worry about pax. How long has he been on the fleet?

i went for the interview on the 17th last month, and i was 1cm shorter but after some 'chit chatting' with the guy, he finally let me thru, but still i failed the introduction section.

i was wondering, i got kicked out because of my introduction or due to my height?

if it was because of my introduction, i would want to try it out again because i believe i will do better but i notice the guy wrote something after he decided to let me thru so am wondering the remark is neccessary because the height is very crucial even i am only 1cm shorter. if it is so there is no point for me to keep trying right?

by the way, nice to meet u guys :)

Eh what? SIA recruits m'sian and hkg girls as well, of cuz. Don't know where you get that notion from.
I'm talkig about the GUYS here.[/quote]

I'm a singaporean, and the guys in my batch have singaporeans too. Where did u hear that statement that SIA only hires Msians and some HK?

i understand that a dip is sufficient but i just wanna make sure which one is much more recognised in SIA. don't mind!
doesnt make a difference to SIA if you are applying for the position of FSS

What if it's due to missing tooth?
And if the interview comes before my appointment to replace
my tooth. How can i tell the interviewer? It'll affect right?

post acceptance of SIA cabin crew

Post by jeuleque » Thu, 12 Feb 2009 1:56 am

hello...
i have a few questions to ask regarding post acceptance as a SIA cabin crew. my status at the moment is to go for medical check up.
1. do u know how long it takes for us to get the result of the test?
2. if we do pass the medical check up, how long usually they will inform on the dates of the training?
3. which area should we look for during our stay in training? am not quite familiar with singapore.
appreciate it very much if any of you will help me on this.
thanks :)
