Local Flight Stewardesses
We will be conducting a recruitment exercise for Flight Stewardess in Singapore. If you meet the following standards, we will be pleased to meet you at our walk-in interview.


Requirements
Singapore or Malaysian citizenship
Females who are at least 1.58m;
At least 2 GCE ‘A’-level credits and 2 ‘O’-level credits including General Paper in the GCE ‘A’-level examination; or a Diploma from a local Polytechnic.
(Those with at least 5 GCE ‘O’-level credits, including English, and relevant working experience may also apply).
Preference will be given to candidates who are able to speak foreign languages or are experienced in customer service.


Training
If you make it through our rigorous selection process, you will undergo about 4 months’ training. On successful completion of training you will commence flying duties.


Remuneration & Service Benefits
Apart from the opportunity to experience various cultures and meet new people from around the world, you can look forward to a total income of about S$3,500 a month, including fixed salary and variable incentive allowances. Plus an annual wage supplement of one month’s basic salary and profit-sharing bonus. You will also be entitled to free travel to any SIA destination once a year and enjoy discounted travel at other times.

Lol why is there always an interview during my birthday and the day after...Lol...Too bad this is for females only.. :( :(

Braces

Hi there,

Im new to this forum and I do plan to join SIA or silkair as a cabin crew very soon. But im quite concern as im having my braces on,will this affect my interview for the job? Do give me your advise whether i should apply the job when my braces are still on or should i apply the job after my braces period is over?

A friend of mine in SilkAir Batch 63 was interviewing with her braces. She informed the interviewers that she'd get her braces taken off very soon. So it won't effect your interview in any way as long as you can get your braces off before you start training.

SIA is an international airline. SilkAir is SIA's wholly-owned regional airline.

Hi,I'm new to this forum.I need some advice.I'm currently still a student and will be graduating next year june 2007.Should i go for the interview on is coming intake or wait for the next one?Anyone knows if there's anymore intake early next year?I'm very keen to join SIA.

still a long way to go, maybe you want to try out in April/May? dont worry theyalways have intakes... lolx and nobody can be certain for the dates of these intakes :D

Hi bellakoh...my advice to you is...complete your studies first...at least u can still fall back on your diploma/degree to source for a job should you find cabin crew is not what you wanted...

alwiz have a back up plan..... i presume that you are from the east side....

though the arrival of A340 has been delayed again, im pretty sure they will open up their recruitment anytime soon.....

The delay is until October 2007 if I'm not mistaken..SIA is planning to buy 19 A380's if I'm not mistaken..Then next year there will be a big intake again.. :wink:
