Is nowadays approval of citizenship taking long time? Any comments.

I have applied it last year (AUGUST -2009),still waiting for the outcome. Almost 9 months gone. When I enquired them they said, "In process" and aproval are depends on case by case also said it could take upto 1 Year. Any body got the citizenship after 9 month.

Which part of the information from ICA that you do not understand ? If ICA informed you "still under process", means you are not rejected which is good. So wait, it may take up to two years on this given time.
If it says every case takes on its merits means not two kettles is the same, your maybe made of bronze while the other is made of stainless steel, so it depends which one ICA likes better.

Does this makes sense to you ?
