temporary housing

Post by philbert » Fri, 28 May 2010 12:20 am

We are about to leave Singapore after twelve years here. We need to rent somewhere temporarily for four weeks from July to August. We are an older couple, and have a pussycat. We need somewhere clean and nice, but not expensive, to stay until we "collect" all our refunds etc. Our present landlord is reclaiming his apartment.

Clean, nice, not expensive sounds a bit contradictive. In some other threads people mentioned reasonable hotel rooms from as low as 30-40 SGD. And if this is only about waiting you could also consider some holidays in the neighbouring countries. Could be much nice, cheaper, less expensive and a good farewell to SE Asia.

Take a look in the classifieds section of this site for short term rentals. There are people who want to get out of leases early (one recent poster on the topic last week) that might also be willing to negotiate a deal.

Overlooked. Good point. Maybe still worth to consider with pet hotels or some friends in SG?
