Post by laylaworld » Wed, 26 May 2010 2:19 pm

what's yr current obsession on makeup?any desired looks etc...let's talk about those all ladies stuff (guys who use makeup, join please).

Usually i'm eye makeup person :) but doesn't mean i don't like those beautiful lippies, like shiny gloss or hot lipsticks...

but recently craving for light candy pink or nude pink lip colors are wining me over....so (but i know it won't last till i get enough stuffs to satisfy myself)

how about you?

i totally dig eye make-up too! i just received my coastal scents 88 colour eye shadow palettes (i bought all 4 kinds) from www.coastalscents.com

i really like to go for really bright eyeliner colours like bright blue or green. never red cos that makes it look like you have an eye infection! and of course i use basic black.

i loved using blush and eyeliner alone when i go out for casual occasions. i bought the 10 piece blush palette from coastal scents as well.

i don't really wear lip colours much cos i have this awful habit of licking my lips too much then feeling too self-conscious to always reapply it. XD

but i admit, i'm a make up junkie. and i love sephora.

enough good lashes? :) nice to hear that too but it's never enough to feel good so i love exploring make ups and try them to how it looks and what occasion it would suit etc...

if you have enough eye makeup. lipstick is not really needed, isn't it? :) just maybe gloss to brighten up the lips look.

Haha well you know how somedays you just feel like not playing up you eyes so much but lips instead. Today I found maybelline has coloured lipbalm I got that. I like it!

I agree that sephora here isn't that great, judging from their website. I'm just really glad that they have a rewards system. Though it's not that amazing haha.

Where do you usually buy make up?

Sephora is really overpriced although their own line is not too bad here in Singapore.

Body Shop has developed a nice range of makeup.

I find the Duty Free shop at Changi allright, sometimes some Guardians stock good Revlon products, although if you're Caucasian some of the makeup/foundation palette colours are not the same tones based purely on skin tone/ preferences between Asian and Caucasian women.

i don't find bodyshop's makeup range is adequate and plus their price is pretty stiff high. I'd rather pay that kind of money for some other brands.

SG drugstore makeups brands range is also ? mark like revlon, maybelline etc...anyway that's not only in SG it's a pattern in asia.

Anyway i like what's the local market has to offer for cosmetics and skin care
:)

well in Body Shop's case the range is using natural ingredients and maybe that's why it is higher, i like their bronzers because you don't find that in most counters here. BTW go to any makeup counter and the high end brands are twice if not higher the cost of what they cost overseas, Europe and USA.

Means "best face" in korean. But baically ulzzang make up is using lots of products to make the eyes very large like cosmetic circle lenses, eyeliner, long fake eyelashes, etc. and makeup to have fair skin and thin small lips.

If I can only choose one type of make up to bring out with me, it would be eyeliner.

Eyeliner is very important to me because I have small eyes and it brings out my eyes. Therefore, I do the smokey eyes look all the time!

Blusher, lip gloss and eyebrow pencil are also very important to me!
