Can I appeal a deferment decision?

Hi, I have applied for NS deferment for my son pending renunciation at age 21. Unfortunately, it was rejected.

I suspect the rejection could be due to us owning an HDB flat. Would it help now if we sell the flat? Is it possible to apply again, or appeal the decision?

There are a set of protocol needs to be follow.
Rejection of deferment is purely on NS issue and has nothing to do with your HDB house
