Suitable housing location in Singapore

Hi All,

I am moving to Singapore at the end of June 2010 with my wife and a 1 year old baby, my work place would be in Ayer Rajah Crescent. What would the ideal location for me to look for an apartment or hdb flat rental with a budget of around 1000SGD per month.

i suggest you do a little more research into singapore rental rates, cost of living, etc. etc. etc.

Please do your research as durain suggested. 1, 000 SGD for a flat? If you haven't heard, the rentals here in Singapore has gone sky high. Look at the posts here and look at some online adverts to give you an idea of the rental prices.
