After a few years delay, it looks like our move to Singapore is back on. A few questions to ask for the experts. If you were to choose between Astrid Meadows and The Arcadia, which would it be and why? Do most condo's in Sing allow pets as we are most likely bringing our daughters cat? Are there ample grounds at these two complexes for the kids to run around (soccer, football, etc)?
A couple of the details....the kids (9 and 12) will be going to SAS, and I will also be working up in the Woodlands area. I've read many times on these forums about living close to school and work, but during our site visit a few years ago the Woodlands area just didn't excite us very much. Didn't seem like there was much out there, the condos seemed a little run down comparitively, and it was quite a ways from the adventure downtown. We were able to tour many areas of the island and the Holland Village area seemed to have just about everything we were looking for. Our budget will be in the $11.5K(S) range, we're looking for at least 3 bedrooms, lower floor, but don't need 3000 sq/ft. If there are any suggestions that are comparative, would love to hear them.
