What is going on with the weather?? Is all this rain normal at this time of year?? I've just seen on the weather site (NEA thing) that it's going to be wet first thing in the morning again tomorrow! Aaaargh, it's like being back in Blighty!

Kind of anomaly... typically April-May is sizzling hot in here.

Tell me about. We were getting strong NE winds yesterday. These should have made way for the SE/SW breezes almost 2 months ago.
Me thinks this is the last of the wet stuff though before the true SW season makes its way here; the weather has broken. Yesterday was the final spasm before the NE retreats.
Cue the Sumatra Squalls.

Back in Feb/Mar we went something like 6 weeks with virtually no rain and everyone was complaining then. There's nothing like a good drop of rain to clear the air but I wish it would go back to the usual 3pm rather than 6pm plus when I'm trying to get home!

I love the rainy weather and so do my children - we prefer going out for walks when it is raining than when it is sunny and hot.
This overnight rain does seem a bit unusual for the time of year but I definitely haven't got a problem with it, in fact, I wish it would carry on for longer (it's usually gone by about 8am where we live)

Wet weather for June
Replies: 8
First post
It's nice to have rain once in a while, but if it rains too often, it does feel quite depressing. Anyone feels the same?

I always love it when it rains only at night. Quite annoying in the day time though...unless you're staying at home, it's nice..
