There are too many online shops nowadays, if u wan to be really successful.. u have to be unique in ur stuffs.. n popular :p

and you have to be cheaper by about 30-50%

I have tried many kind of online business in Singapore but not worth the effort, Singapore is very convenience city and many shops and supermarket are open almost 24 hours and just a few block away from where you live, some places there are many shops just below their house... and when people come to buying thing, they prefer to touch and feel it before they buy it, and many young people will reject or ask for refund even with a very tiny defect found in the product..food or non food. so it is very challenging for online business in Singapore.

I learn it the hard way and now focus on building online business internationally, it bring me much more return than do it myself. I am happy that I changed my focus.
