Place to buy a nice Laptop Bag the Trolley Kind

Post by FaeLLe » Wed, 12 May 2010 11:36 pm

Hi all,

Am tired of breaking my back with several kg's of papers and laptop everyday to and fro work.

Can someone suggest a nice place to buy a laptop trolley bag.
You know the laptop cases that have a handle sticking out and can be dragged on wheels.

It looks something like this below,

http://www.amazon.co.uk/TROLLEY-LAPTOP- ... B000NB95ES

I checked around Bugis etc but found only Swiss Army branded ones that are SGD 500+!!!

Please assist with where I can get a good quality one with affordable prices.

do you really need a special laptop trolley bag or a bog standard trolley bag will do? if it is a bog standard trolley bag, you can get them everywhere in shopping malls, and for your laptop, get a sleeves for it.

to reduce your laptop weight, you should remove the battery and cd drive if you not using it instead of lugging it about. also, if you can get 2 PSU, then dont need to carry it too - one in office and one at home.

Mm cant remove batteries, us consultants need to move from desk to desk with our laptops.
Not to mention we get the extra huge 9 cell batteries so we dont have to lose power for over 6 hours at a stretch :/

Would rather prefer a laptop one cause the normal trolley bags are too bulky...... somehow the laptop ones I have seen are slicker.
