But i would to have clarification on that matter what you are really dealing on your profession with 2000 sd montly....

as i know that salaries are depending on professions and experiences as well

thank you for your kind understanding :)
Actually, that is not entirely true. This is Singapore. This is where everything is not quite what it seems. Salaries here are dependent on three things and not just two. Actually, 4 things, the truth be known.

1. Education
2. Experience
3. Nationality
4. Age

I know you want to question the last two, but that is, unfortunately, the way it is here. Degree & 10 years experience for a Brit here in HR would be 6K up. But if you are from Myanmar it will be $1800. What an employer will pay uses the strange formula that, "well, it's very good money where they are from". They keep forgetting that the foreigner has to maintain themselves here in Singapore AS WELL AS their families in their home country. And if they are here on an S pass due to the low salaries, they cannot bring their families here either. I can sum it up in two words....

IT SUCKS.

clarification for that matter

Hello

Thanks for your clear propositions.

It is really interresting that nationality has a major factor in making decision for salaries by employers!

As i see English speaker and experienced staffs are taken into consideration particularly to an acceptable high salary.

I have nearly 11 years experiences in Foreign trading and business management and posses associate degree of Business Administration with fluent English german turkısh and at ıntermediate level russian languages.

I always consider to improve myself to have broad experiences in business environment. And also i suppose that chinese language will also obtain to my skills major privilege before entering Singapore business ambience.

So.my further goal is to share my wide business experinces in Singapore with agreeable conditions.

Considering my qualifications what would be your concept for having a prospective salary!

It is just to have an idea, feel free to indicate your approach

Thank you for all your kind relation

Good day

I am guessing that Turkish is possibly your mother tongue as your written English, while understandable, surely is not. Also, I would need further description of your qualifications. Where I'm from, an associates degree, is the equivalent of a diploma and not a B.Sc or BA. I'm afraid, unless you are already making a minimum of S$7000/month, you might have a problem even qualifying for certain Employment Passes.

I would suggest that you have a thorough read of the following link to see just what is required to obtain an employment pass here. Of course, you have to find a potential employer willing to hire you first, then the employer has to sponsor & file an application to try to get you a work pass.

http://www.mom.gov.sg/foreign-manpower/ ... fault.aspx

Who knows, you might find something that dovetails your requirements and your eligibility/suitability. If that's the case, then you only need to find the position and hope that the employer can convince the MOM that there are not suitable locals/PRs already here that could do the job with equal or even better qualifications. It's not easy as it sounds. Hopefully, you have read sufficient threads here to see that.

Remember, unless you are being offered a job with a basic salary of "at least" @$7,000 a month, then you will be required to have the necessary paper qualifications for the pass being considered. Experience counts for nought in qualifying you for the pass. The second part of the qualifying procedure is whether or not the employer can justify the hiring of a foreigner instead of a local/PR (this one isn't as easy). If you don't have a full degree, you are going to possibly have a problem.

Good luck with your endeavours.

sms

NB: Only the P1 Pass (Salary of at least $7000/mo) absolves you of the necessary academic qualifications as they feel if an employer is willing to pay that much, then your experience is considered sufficient. Less than $7000/month you HAVE to have the necessary academic qualifications as noted in the link I provided.

Understandable all what you have indicated...

only for the clause basic salary>7000 $ provides approval for EP excluding recognised qualifications considerably...

however for the other clauses recognised qualifications are taken into consideration entirely...so for that bachelor degree is a major factor...

it is strange,i have tested by entering my datas into the online check link ( Employment Pass Self-Assessment Tool
)and have received positive response for acceptence to EP application!

Also what about age,is that also considered by the MOM or not?

Thank you for your kind relation

Testing yourself with the online tool at the MOM site will only let you know if you are suitable "academically" it does not, however, guarantee that you will be accepted. As I mentioned before, it's a two part process. You have to be sponsored by a specific employer (the pass it tied to that employer only) and the employer must still convince the MOM that they need to hire a foreigner. The online tool only helps to save you time trying at all. It just doesn't let you know if you will be 'actually' given a pass or rejected. Just go into it with an open mind and if you are planning to make a trip to Singapore to find a job, be sure to allow yourself sufficient funds to survive upwards of 3 to 6 months as finding the elusive position often will entail some time.

Hi

Definitely..that MOM provides simply having opinion about acceptence for EP.

Before coming there i need to learn more about all system, working flows and related refunds and afterwards consider all with my family.

By the way could you let me know about perspectives of Singaporean and Employers to Turkish people ...Also about Turkey and its industrial & economical circumstances?

What about density of Turkish employees in Singapore?

Thanks all for your responses
