problems with phones

Post by foxhana » Tue, 04 May 2010 10:32 pm

My first problem with phones.
My nokia phone has become weird lately, something like memory isn't enough to send or receive an sms.

Problem is, i've deleted many songs and photos, and of course cleared my inbox and sent folder which contains hundreds of smses. shut down my phone, took the battery out, took the sim card out, placed them all back and restarted the phone. seems to have solved the problem for a week. But now it's back again.

I've owned this phone for 2 years. Is it any good to go to the service center? Or is there a way I can fix this myself?Or is there a reliable shop to repair phones?

you can backup your contacts and sms using the data cable. check your fone firmware if it is really old. or maybe it is time to get a new fone?

i'm quite unwilling to buy a new phone, have a tight budget lately.

Service centers is one of my worst customers experience here. The only one above might be waiting for your change in a bar.

Calling there (Starhub, Singtel, ...) gets you one hour waiting to hear a random answer. Call again and you will get a different one. Not much better in person.
