There's a bead shop which I think is now in the Shaw Centre, behind where the big Isetan is. I'm sure they have a website so you might be able to find it if you search. They've moved around quite a bit (they were in the Heeren at one point) which is why it might be better to try and find their website before going there (in case they've moved again).

Try Chinatown- People's Park Complex. There are about 3-4 stores on the same floor. Good variety and cheap.

There was a DIY jewelry/bead shop, run by a Japanese woman on the second floor of that Tudor building next to Tangling Mall.

Just went past the Tudor building and that small shop is gone. So that just leaves that big art shop above kinnoko-whatsit bookshop in the Takashimiya building.

hi there! thanks for the reply...I am to family with SIN yet, so would I just take a taxi and ask him to drop me off at Arab St? Is there an intersection?

As for silver chains, there is a shop in CentrePoint Shopping Center (176 Orchard) can't remember the name but it is on the 2nd floor #24...

I am not sure if they are sterling silver but I would imagine their are better quality than what you found in Arab St.

THank you and good luck!
