To keep from this thread from being another wasted thread, I'm just curious what you guys did if you all needed to do was move to the next building? Literally the building next to yours.
We did this before and we ended up just hauling some stuff--obviously in batches--on the days leading to the actual move in date.

I hired a 14 footer (sans driver as I have a class D license as well) and along with three of my mates and a slab of beer, did the move from Seletar Camp to my new HDB abode ourselves.

hi sundaymorningstaple, i cudnt find any list below for the movers...?!! unless im looking in the wrong place- u mentioned uve put out a list of movers recommended by expats at some stage or the other...?? pls can i have some names too- we wanna move within sngapore but need to pack-move it into storage for 6 mnths- then move frm storage to new appt... so need someone decent job yet not too heavy on the pocket!! pls can u help again with the 'list'
