I personallly would find use in the following link and i am sure others would too!

www.tapatalk.com/

I haven't read whats involved in the integration, but it would probably bring us new visitors and allow current users to view in other ways! I use it for a couple of other forums i frequent occasionally and its good for the iphone.

Is there any intentions of installing this plugin? it would be very handy and could increase "footfall" to the site.

I'm using tapatalk for other forums and it's very convenient. In fact I can't really access the forum on my iphone in any other way because safari becomes incredibly slow when browsing any phpbb forum.

Can you please please please consider adding support for tapatalk? :)

Weird, I use occasionally Safari on IPAD2 to browse and post to this forum and never found it slow. I terms of performance there is I believe no significant difference between the IPAD2 and iphone4 (5 more, 3 less RAM).
Have you tried Opera?

I've tried safari and opera, and the latter is marginally faster, but it's still very hard to read the posts on the iPhone - the website is optimised for a much bigger screen. Tapatalk is a native iOS app and it makes it super easy to read and reply.

Is it very hard to enable? I'm happy to spend time reading the technical bits and help you with it as long as you're happy to have it on.

Please, please :)

Haven't explored it myself but if it will make wielding the banhammer easier...

What a shame, tapatalk is really good and convenient.

If there is interest I can help you upgrade to a newer version of the forum - I work in IT.

No, what's embarrassing is that with all that knowledge, there are still some "i" users who still believe in the red fruit. Everybody knows it only takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel. :P

Apple has decent hardware and software. For the whole rest it is nothing worse nor better than its main (partly past) competitor. And what is embarrassing is the surrounding culture.

Yay! And, oh, please make it Android OS compatible too, and not just iOS alone.

It's like article comments. The s#*% flinging is rivaled only by the comments in political articles.

oiii stop digressing and let's go back to the subject suggested by OP :)

Tapatalk supports iOS, Android and Blackberry so it's effectively multi-platform for mobile devices.

C'mon let's make an effort and get it to work. [-o< [-o<
