EADG,
I'd be interested how this little red dot would stand up as well, if Singstat was allowed to publish ALL the data. Of course, I don't know if abuse of prescription drugs counts. Dog knows enough GPs here get whacked each year for dispensing copious quantities to dubious characters.
Of course, if they didn't hang 'em all, there would be lots more here!

It can't be the most drug-free. That's like being the most pregnant. It either is or it isn't. I have a friend who works with overdose patients at Raffles Hospital. Illegal drug use is very prevelant here. It would be a mistake not to think so, especially if you were a female age 16 - 25, as they are most likely to be given any one of a number of date rape drugs.tkuanhoo wrote:Nope but one of the most drug free.Plavt wrote:Singpore isn't drug free....tkuanhoo wrote:

Have a look at how many Singaporeans are locked up at the present moment or in half way houses because of drugs. Singapore is harsh on drugs but far from free.tkuanhoo wrote:Nope but one of the most drug free.Plavt wrote:Singpore isn't drug free....tkuanhoo wrote:

Would have thought the percentage for Aussie was higher but maybe its a generational thing. Under fifties the figure should be more like 2/3 Aussies have tried recreational drugs.

Re: 40% in Aus/NZ/UK and 53% in America have used drugs befo
Dosent surprise me seems low really. Every culture in the world has some sort if substance to get high on. In all my years I have had friends who never tried anything to those that were habitual drug users but not one of them every committed any crime or hurt anyone else or had it effect their work or personal lives and most grew out of it because it didnt interest them anymore. At the end of the day the two people who got most hurt and to this day are still messed up abused alcohol and cannot give it up. It sold everywhere, its cheap, it used in nearly all social settings.tkuanhoo wrote:Almost 40% of those in Australia, New Zealand and the UK have abused drugs before.

Yeah, Plavt, it happens with great regularity at places like Zouk and some of the other big clubs and small ones alike. Quite often these girls are underage as well, but with doctored/false identities or lax bouncers/doormen (if the girl is good looking she could almost be 12 and get in with the right adornments and accessories by Triumph. They are asking for it and there are enough scumbag males who cannot get girls the right way that they resort to this crap. Another one in today's papers just got a 13 years sentence and 6 strokes for being a online predator here statutory rape of a 13 year old and carnal whatever it called with two 14 years olds.
