Postby teenasharma » Fri, 30 Apr 2010 3:14 pm

Am I following the right path or not
I have been searching for the past 2 months but not able to reach or get to a result.

Persistence is all you need. Eventually it will come. Remember, every other Tony, Doris & Heather has a diploma in HR here in Singapore so it might be a little difficult in selling that here. Teaching in your field? Try the polytechnics & Universities here. But, remember, sometimes it takes some time to find that elusive position.

hi teena .. I guess you are looking for job openings in the field of HR and if thats the case I believe you can try some of the reputed Head hunters as they are looking for Recruitment consultants. This way you can start with recruitment and eventually when you get a full fledged HR job you can takeup that one ... :)

That might be difficult as there are very few professionals here regarding HH. But it's an industry that, for local purposes, doesn't take much smarts. We call it a revolving door industry. It's where locals work while looking for a job. :o The problem will be not getting an offer, but getting MOM approval as recruitment agents are a dime a dozen here.
