applying and getting a job in Singapore

I am a post Graduate in Human resource Management and did my Bachelors in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

My total experience is 4 years.

I have 1 years of experience in the field of HR from U.K and served as a Lecturer for 3 years in an Engineering College.
Can u let me know about a relevant way of finding jobs in the field of HR or teaching ?I came to Singapore this year and my Legal status is DP
Am I following the right path or not
I have been searching for the past 2 months but not able to reach or get to a result.
Please guide me

Persistence is all you need. Eventually it will come. Remember, every other Tony, Doris & Heather has a diploma in HR here in Singapore so it might be a little difficult in selling that here. Teaching in your field? Try the polytechnics & Universities here. But, remember, sometimes it takes some time to find that elusive position.

hi teena .. I guess you are looking for job openings in the field of HR and if thats the case I believe you can try some of the reputed Head hunters as they are looking for Recruitment consultants. This way you can start with recruitment and eventually when you get a full fledged HR job you can takeup that one ...

That might be difficult as there are very few professionals here regarding HH. But it's an industry that, for local purposes, doesn't take much smarts. We call it a revolving door industry. It's where locals work while looking for a job. The problem will be not getting an offer, but getting MOM approval as recruitment agents are a dime a dozen here.
