Hi guys,
Well, I worked in Hong Kong for 2 years as an ESL teacher, teaching english and music. Its the only teaching qualification I have so to speak. I'm in Hawaii at the moment, but relocating to Singapore end of May, due to my husbands job.
I'm a little anxious as I don't see many ESL jobs advertised, due to most people already speaking English. Am I right to say that if I want to continue teaching I will need a Diploma etc. Im from England and have a BA degree, so do have other qualifications.
How have other foreigners found getting work, if its not specialised...i.e. teaching, admin, training etc. I'm presuming you have to be a permanent resident to be able to apply??
Thanks for your help.
