SMS, this is fairy new design (couple of years on the market, maybe 10?) and great idea. You do not swim in somebody's pee or poo even if it is a cute baby and baby has dry, not soaked diaper:

Actually you still do, swim in the pee, that is. The adults here are famous for peeing in the pools and that's why they still think it's okay for the babies to do so as well! And the beer swillers, what to say, don't think any nationality has a corner of that market. Bet you a number of them leave floaters as well and I don't mean Baby Ruths either.

There is no rule that says either is right - if I recall correctly in competition the floating lane borders are on either side of the strip of black running along the floor (can anyone confirm / deny)
Hard and fast rules for a swim . . . ffs, in their home country they'd be screaming about over-regulation and police-state or nanny state . . .
Nath21 wrote:they will also hop into your lane whilst you are swimming your lap even though the rest of the pool is free of anyone
no comment on that one (maybe they're just being considerate to any others who may join?)
Yup, bothers me too
BTW - you're the foreigner here - not them
Never . .. everyone bar 'me' is the Johnny Foreigner

OK, I much more prefer not to think that they may pee in the pool
That's naive, I know, since they can spit while swimming... Thank goodness so far I've never encounter any floater
Pizza and beer (however I prefer wine and cheese
) BY the pool why not, but IN the pool?

Yes I don't mind wine and beer and pizza and other foods by the pool, but if you read my post carefully, the family enters the pool with beer (glass) bottles and food!

Heck, a lot of the floats even have a bottle holder in 'em just for that purpose. As do the floating lounge chairs as well.

Sure, have it in your own personal pool.
Floats like the above are not allowed in
condo pools - and since you are sharing with others, i don't think it's fair to bring in bottles and food.

With pretty peculiar focus of this discussing I am a bit scared looking at this strange brownish mass at the back that seems to be about to enter the pool.
