Eat @ Meritus card

I give up, is there any way to get this card apart from signing up for one of OCBC's credit cards?

Yes, sign up directly with the hotel and pay something like $400 I think. More worthwhile to sign up with OCBC - not use the card and cancel after a year!

I checked the hotel's site and there is no info about this card, as if it didn't exist. ;)

Would I need to open up an OCBC account to get a CC with them?

A friend of mine had it - not sure how as they called her and she signed up. Silly Cow.

Maybe you can try speaking to Marina Mandarin's hotel operator and get info from there.

For OCBS, reading their website, it's only asking you to sign up for the platinum card - i guess that mean no bank account needed! Why don't you call the hotel and the bank?

Is signing up with OCBC still the only way to get the card? I really like one of the restaurants there but don't feel like applying for yet another CC... :?

It's now called the Eat@Mandarin card and it is finally available without an OCBC card at www.eatatmandarin.com

Bit pricey at $497, but that does include a ton of extras like a free night's stay, etc. Gonna go for it.
