I know this should probably go in the health and beauty section, but I hardly fall into that catagory and I suspect the people whose advice I need don't really look in that section either!
It doesn't matter what I do to my hair, it always looks rubbish, so my philosophy is just get it done a cheaply as possible.
I could ask my wife to do it for me for free, but then I know I would spend the next week moaning about it which would annoy her no end, so I need a barber, but want to spend as little as possible - any advice?

Try some of the Indian barbers, they do a good cut . . . nothing fancy, just a good cut. And they're very cheap

These places are everywhere, but has anyone here actually risked "a close encounter with a lawnmower " for a tenner?

That was a gift to myself after finishing my diet almost two years ago. I bought a Headblade and have be enjoying the luxury of a shaven pate ever since. Still got the beard though! My son says with a little more build I'd look like Stone Cold Steve!

If you live in the east, this is my best barber experience so far:
Siglap Salon - next to the siglap family clinic near the corner of siglap road and east coast road
Good malay barbers for only $8 open till about 8pm

I use the "10 dollar 10 minutes" barber and find them pretty good, apart from I nearly always seem to have run out of 10 dollar notes when I go in!!. Though I am , er, "follically challenged"

so might not be to every-one's taste.
I love the Indian barber cut throat shave, haircut and neck cracking routine but funnily enouigh never tried it in Sing. Maybe I'll give it a go next time I'm in Little India.
Never regret anything that made you smile

That’s right - I believe they will only use your direct deposit info on a “return by return” basis in case you’ve closed the account in the meantime....
