Kind of defeats he purpose of an aptitude test.
It's common sense - if you try to come in before I go out, I can't go out. And you can't come in! Lose-lose!

Good day!

I apologize if this question has already been answered in a different thread... I'm just wondering, can this test be done online instead? My wife seeks employment in Singapore, but according to the agency assisting her application, the MoM asks their batch to take this Aptitude test.

My point is, the travel itself from the Philippines to Singapore is not cheap... According to her agency, she needs to travel to Singapore, take this Aptitude Test, get back to the Philippines, wait if she passes, if she does, wait again for the employer, then if everything turns out good, get back to Singapore for the employment...

I would appreciate your most immediate response. :)

General ability test for S pass

Post by Gopinath » Thu, 27 Jan 2011 3:31 pm

Hi, I am delighted after seeing all your threads. Because I'm taking the GAT on Feb 8th, 2011. I am confused when i hear that i have to take GAT for my S pass application. While i was searching for the information regarding GAT, i found this forum which is really useful. So i created an account to ask some questions regarding the test.

1. What is the time limit for writing the exam?
2. What is the number of questions that appear in the exam?
3. Is there any passing mark limit?

can any please help me in answering the question?...

Thanks a million for helping me.....

Thank you,

Gopinath

Yes I can tell you the diagram is Circle, Square, Diamond and 2 Englishmen digging a hole, it says if it takes two Englishmen 8 hrs to dig a hole, how long will it take 1 Englishman to dig half a hole, then tick the box of the shape of the hole  (Sorry lads I know Englishmen don't dig holes these days  But we are in Singapore racial harmony and all that)

Question about SPass Application

Post by 733ch » Thu, 21 Apr 2011 7:00 pm

Hi! I was asked to take the GAT this May and my question is. If i will take the exam and pass and result will be in 14 days but according to immigration if I extend my stay in singapore (which i already did) i can only come back to singapore after 60 days. But if I pass the GAT and my SPass is approved, will I be able to come back to singapore to complete the process even if it's not 60 days passed yet? How can I be exempted on that ruling of 60 days? Any help would be appreciated thanks.
