Advice on choosing School for my Daughter

Post by tarunth » Sat, 24 Apr 2010 12:31 pm

Hi,

I would be moving to Singapore. from India sometimes around end May 2010 and need to get admission for my daughter who is studying in Class II (Primary School). In India her school is affiliated to CBSE board. We would like her to get into a similar school in Singapore, which follows the CBSE board curriculum. Additionally we want to put her in a school where she may find company with other Indian Expat classmates as well.

I am planning to take up my appartment around Upper East Cost, Simei Street1 area,

Could someone recommend schools based on our requirements. Your help would be much appreciated.

If you have the money to splurge put her in a british school... a change of environment and exposure might benefit her more.

PS. I have nothing against Indian schools...... but do give this a read http://forum.singaporeexpats.com/ftopic ... ns?t=47712

If you want your kids to get into a reputed local school consider a posh school like Raffles private school or the kinds.......
