Detox programme in Singapore?
Detox programme in Singapore?
Anyone know somewhere in Singapore that does a detox programme (not the foot spa thing)? Internet searches only seem to bring up Thailand, even if I enter "detox in Singapore" as the search criteria!

Let me explained what I am trying to convey. Unlike Drug and Inhalant Abuse Chemical Detox which will resort to cold turkey treatment and drug treatment, heavy metal or organ detoxification is the removal of harmful substance through organic way
I weighed a massive 110 kg at the turn of the half century mark. I just cannot stop eating and no amount of drug/dietary/ fitness programmes did the trick. I am not soliciting to any company, just to relate how I manage to turn myself and now weighs only 70kg. Instead of seeing the Medical Doctor , I happened to meet up with Naturopathy Doctor. He is a certified ND and a professor in Natural Cure. What I did is a simple flushing to clear all the toxin and heavy metal. Next is by intravenously injecting Vitamin C with plasma fluid. These were all done after I had hair analysis, urine and blood test done. The result was shocking nonetheless. This is the only cost I spend on which was less than $1K. After that once a year I will do the flushing using grapefruit, lemon, olive oil and oranges. This flushing or detox helps to cure your organs and it is like changing the engine oil of your car.
Now, I eat less and sleep better and I do not crave for binge eating. I do exercise but not regularly. I do not signed up for any programmes not dietary regiments.
Hence my earlier post to OP if this is what OP is looking for. I am not sure if this is available in SG but you can do it yourself if you are able to understand more what is your prognosis from the lab test conducted.
Detoxification is the process of clearing toxins from the body or neutralizing or transforming them, and clearing excess mucus and congestion. Many of these toxins come from our diet, drug use, and environmental exposure, both acute and chronic. Internally, fats, especially oxidized fats and cholesterol, free radicals, and other irritating molecules act as toxins. Poor digestion, colon sluggishness and dysfunction, reduced liver function, and poor elimination through the kidneys, respiratory tract, and skin all add to increased toxicity.
Detoxification involves dietary and lifestyle changes which reduce intake of toxins and improve elimination. Avoidance of chemicals, from food or other sources, refined food, sugar, caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, and many drugs helps minimize the toxin load. Those lifestyle changes are a direct result of choices you make in your life.

MS I agree, there are many detox methods and natural ones at that.
What is harmful to the body, needs flushing out at intervals, free radicals will always be circulating and building up in the blood stream, from various bad habits and environmental pollution. There is nothing more toxic and harmful than western medicine. Though damage done several generations ago linger in the genetic make up, so if its not one thing its another.
I personally suffer from the auto immune system attacking healthy tissue, its a real pain in the shoulders and wrists called RA, it started in the last year, along with lupus, it is a genetic destruction of one's own cells and nothing much one can done apart from a healthy diet, to minimise the attacks. I believe in flushing toxins out, though you need a great deal of anti oxidant's, it's also good to flush out the bowl system too, which i had done due to constipation over a year ago.
When you start crapping like a rabbit, then you know you have a problem, though your eyes don't get better in the dark! So the carrots don't really work.
The colon absorbs fluid quite rapidly, so one needs plenty of water every day, otherwise you will crap bricks, people say eat more fiber, the truth is too much fibre maybe the problem...All said and done, it's everyone to their own methods, though i would never recommend seeing any of the specialists i have seen.
Once you have detoxed the bacteria needs replacing asap, you also need to feed the bacteria with IMO oligosaccharides. Though never lock out the possibilities that you have genetic problems, they cannot be cured and the medications can be far more dangerous than you think, with side effects doctors rarely get into trouble for and are quite indifferent until you challenge them hard enough, that they have to look at what they are doing.
I've certainly lost my faith in the word expert.
And my advice to all would be, just have a good time, good or bad, will make very little difference when its time to go....what bad habits one had in the past may hit you in the future, what is done is done, genetics speak for themselves, like it or not! Go out with a bang!
Once my weight is down, I'm going to enjoy my beer in a more controlled manner, just like sex
