My bro is in town for the weekend. Please Reccomend me places to bring him this weekend. Bear in mind he is Irish (which means more pub related stuff and less zoo stuff).

Same thing that's in OT. Plus the "No Signboard" seafood restaurant which is pretty good.

Mulligans (The Cannery) at Clarke Quay - the Guinness (pint) is not that bad but the 'traditional Irish' music is not all that to write home about

Sports can be a tricky one here. I walked all the way out to the Singapore Flyer to see the F1 qualifying session as there's a sports bar there. Inside it was an entirely different story though. Rather small screens, and no commentary because they had music on. Rubbish experience...
There's an Irish pub called Mulligan's in Clarke Quay which shows F1 on several screens including a projector tv... AND they have the commentary on instead of elevator music...

That pub is really nothing special, we had a lot of trouble with our drinks last time because we ordered like 10 mins before happy hour ended... and had them arrive 15 minutes later with higher prices. So had to take this up with staff as it was ridiculous...
They tried to do this to several of us.

Does anyone know where to get costume jewellery repaired in Singapore? Eg re-stringing beaded necklaces, replacing stones on a ring, ring size...

Hmm... you seem really enthusiastic about the place. Your other post was also about it.
