But ya, the ability to view the bill online is crucial. If not I still believe it is the best rate. I sincerely hope that they have improved the system with so many 'noises', not sure anyone still hold a card with them and able to advise whether there is any changes?

Hi Amigo, I'm a holder of KF Amex, but the mileage conversion is not great if you're spending less than $12,000/year - which Horizon would be able to rival that card without reaching that spending amount. Applied the card for the bonus mileage, and just shelved it until it has other promotion IMHO.
Oh if you're expensing it then go for it :)

Ok, I'm on the verge of vomiting blood with Citibank, and their horrible customer service, and am ready to ditch my Premier Miles card.

What else at the moment gives good points per spend, as of today 24/9/13 (at least 1.2 miles per $1), with no ongoing fees, or all fees waved.

I am with DBS altitude, but not really for the miles. DBS is the only credit card that allows you to charge SP Services, IRAS etc on credit card and lets you earn points. Among DBS cards, the altitude gets you the best points per $ spent.

There is 1 time fee of ~$42 for converting the points to miles. Other then that there is no other fee.

Like all cards there is no Annual fee for the 1st year. After that I guess they will waive it off anyways.

I ended up getting DBS Altitude last year and has been paying off my bills at AXS stations with it, which amounts to ~$5k a year.

Been extremely happy with their customer service too! I NEVER have to wait when I call and they are always able to answer my questions!

Hmm.. strange. I applied online too and I had POSB savings account, DBS Cashline as well as a DBS Esso Platinum credit card at the time of applying and I didn't have a problem.

BTW, my friend is telling me to sign up for the DBS women's card... something about 4 miles per $1 spent online. Any pro's / cons not mentioned in the ad?

I dont think there are any pros and cons. Just that this card is more geared towards online spends whereas the altitude card is better for overall spends. If bulk of your purchases are online then it makes sense to get the woman's card. Just remember the Woman's World card gives the 10X points the Woman's platinum card only 5X. Also its only the 1st $2000 spent in a month gets you the extra points.

Just applied for the UOB One Credit Card. This card gives 3.33% cash back subject to min spend of $300 a month for 3 months.

Also they are running a promotion of $80 cash back for those who apply now and spend $500 in the 1st month.

The OCBC Titanium Master Card has a slightly better return than the Citibank Premiermiles if you spend at least $1500 a month (and if you're not, the miles you're earning are pretty much inconsequential anyway):

I've stuck with the Citibank card though as I still find the local discounts and rebates to be better than the other banks. (10% rebate at Starbucks, etc)
Plus, the Plaza Airline Lounge membership is nice for the occasional crap flight I need to take where I can't fly Cathay or on a business+ ticket.
