what about xenical? It blocks out the fat in the food that you eat from being absorbed. But i heard about the messy side-effects !! Not perfect.

Heard that it's best not to go out after taking this. Preferably hang out within running distance of the loo.

There was a big scandal in SIngapore a few years back involving one of these diet pills. Liver damage and the works, ended up with messy litigation between friends.

Seriously though, diet and exercise are still the best options.

Well, the OP asked about a 'pill'... so i suggested an option. Of course the OP would need to see his/her doctor first to see whether he/she fits the criteria for it. Wouldn't trust online pharmacies.

If he/she wants a ""quick"" fix, then pill or lipo....

I'm with you on this. Just pointing out that one can never be too careful with these diet pills. As with everything else in life, a quick fix always comes with a price. :D

Actually, this has been brought up here already. The good news is, somebody has a pill for weight loss. Here's his original post:

You run to my house everyday and knock on my door.
I give you the secret slimming pill and you run home.
Its that easy. It actually works better the further you live from me its amazing.

Over the counter pills are not effective, plus they are quite costly. Better go to a doctor for weight issues.

But the best solution is to cut down on the regular intake of food. After all, diet pills are trying to do just that. :D

You could ask your doctor for Reductil but they're not cheap. They help to suppress the appetite but you need to eat healthily when you do eat otherwise nothing will happen.

Don't use xenical, it's horrible stuff, makes you poo oil and you can suffer from bad diarrhoea.

Diet pills on the whole are not very good and I think a lot of them are placebos. I know Reductil does work as I have tried it, however, eating sensibly and eating a lot of the good stuff to fill you up works just as well as Reductil without you having to pay an extra $150 or whatever it costs per month.
