Tried to do a search on this but couldn't find anything. We are moving in June from the US and wondering if there any books you would recommend reading before coming to make the transition smoother. We already have the regular tourist books but looking for something regarding becoming an expat...We have a one and three year old coming with us.
Thanks in advance

Aside from guide books and such...
I just read a book called "Tales from A Broad" (Fran Lebowitz) about a woman who moves from NYC to Singapore with a 3 and 1 year old. It was a bit of a fluff piece and after living here for a couple of years I was sort of questioning some of the actuality - but it is quite funny about an expats perception of the people, the
condos, having a maid, meeting new friends...etc.

How to move a broad? How about a swift kick in the butt!

there are websites on the internet catered specifically for incoming expats into singapore. a number probably would've written a good number of blogs too. a query with your favorite search engine should bring up something.
not every topic should be
published as a book nor does writing one give a
person credibility.

Hi,
A friend of mine who relocated to Singapore last month recommended -

Since you mentioned you're moving from the US, there is 'Living in Singapore' by the American Association of Singapore as well - havent read it though, so not sure how good it is.

I've been using silky girl and it's smooth and lasting. The ones with the retractable pencil. I like their natural colours.
