But an insomniac amateur can yawn, right? :P

On a more serious note--and I haven't checked it out yet--is it feasible to check out the double helix bridge?

had a great time! (though i did go to the wrong harry's bar... :P in the beginning)
we ended up in the new dna helix bridge (helix to the new marina sands casino) to the marina sands...
and then to chinatown where we encountered a huge queue for some amazing local food (you had to be there) and then around chinatown.
thanks for organising hans! (sorry i kept complaining about the heat...heh)
am looking forward to the next meet already.
nice to meet the others also :D

Hey everyone. I'm very much a beginner with my Canon T1i. Coincidentally, this was my first weekend in Singapore (I'll be here for a couple months) and I was exploring the city on Saturday. I probably was wandering around the Esplanade area when you guys were there. I'd love to join you guys for your next outing.

It has some potential to go beyond landschaft photos but not that easy on such damn hot day like today. I was there around noon time and got almost fried.

Woah Film, that's been a while mate, a lost art i'd say.

I dont think anyone here shoots with film, do u guys?

You shoot with MF Film Mate?
If a lost art then already found back judging from the growing interest. Plenty of enthusiasts also in SG but I was wondering if anybody in here as I am more regular t this forum than to clubsnap.

incidentally, the bridge has those screen and mesh things that significantly reduce the sun shining on you. and there was a nice breeze blowing so it wasn't that bad while ON the bridge.

Unless this is a wide angle it is unlikely in the lens - check the mattscreen and clean it with an air-blower.

Gd'day,

For those who'd like to join in for the shoot, you are most welcome to come onboard.

There are no professionals in the team, although I would welcome professionals to join in & give us some pointers during the shoot.

Apart from that,

Please email me your contact details; name, forum nick, email and mobile number to:

expatsphotography@yahoo.com

Next Shoot: 22nd May 2010
Time & Place: TBC

Open to the floor!

Keep those suggestions/ideas comin in!

Cheers.
