It's just wierd. My Nokia phone is showing Sg's correct local time. But every time a messge comes in, it arrives showing its 'sent time' as 2 hours ahead of when it was actually sent. Anyone got the good oil on how to fix that?

Let me suggest you set your phone's clock to be automatic/server time/network-provided or something to that effect. Not the same as having the correct the time on the phone which you set manually.

Else receiving SMSes from the future is pretty cool.

If the person sending you the message is in Aus, that could be the cause. Their sent time will be two hours ahead of your received time! :)

Nah these sms messages are coming from local phones. It's all very odd. Certainly nothing that's gonna cause much grief but occasionally when I've got an sms for a taxi booking it can be confusing trying to work out which taxi booking is the most recent/current one.

I've not got a symbian phone anymore but I think that somewhere you can change time zones for calendars and SMS.

And of course, the obvious: Have you powered it down and back on again?
