Where to Buy a Small Chest of Drawers?

Post by Strong Eagle » Sun, 11 Apr 2010 5:37 pm

27 inches high, 20 inches deep, 18 inches wide, or vice versa on the length/width. Prefer birch color, 3 equal drawers.

No, Ikea is not the place... it is a bit of a unusual size due to where I need to place it in the room. Mustafa out... couple of furniture places in HDB estates close but no cigar.

It's a tough one, especially when you need such a precise size. Custom-made would be the best alternative IMO, but be prepared to pay through the roof.

Have you tried vhive? They do carry 1 or 2 small chests of drawers. If you have time, you could scout out the Kranji industrial estate area. Quite a few furniture retailers/factories there.

An alternative is the furniture mall at Beach Road.

Close. I've decided to buy an Ikea one that is the correct depth but too wide. Since they come unassembled, I shall cut the pieces to desired width before putting it together.

Cheers.
