Marina bay servied apartments vs. Shangrila apt

Post by Mom2one » Fri, 09 Apr 2010 4:47 am

Does anyone have any experiences of these places or any advice ? I was keen on the Marina bay ( 6 marina blvd) because it is 5 min to Raffles MRT) and so I may be well connected. it is also 5 min to the merlion park and that might be good with a 4 year old in tow. The Shangrila apt on the other hand while not near an mart have a shuttle to the city and perhaps may let us use the hotel facility.
I just want to avoid construction and worry that marina blvd place might have a lot of that.
Faith can move mountains.

With a 4 year old check out Treetops - close to buses/MRT, botanic gardens, great pool...etc. Or Great World City which is not near MRT but great indoor playground, pool and lots of taxis.

Fraser Place at Robertson Quay is right by the river. Clark Quay MRT is just a short stroll away. Plus you have a Cold Storage under your nose at UE Square and a Meidi-Ya supermarket (only one in Singapore) at nearby Liang Court.
