You can check out Deevana Patong Resort. I stayed there for 5 days in April 2007. The hotel and services were good. Upon request they had even changed our room after 1 night. It is 3-4 minute walk to Patong Beach. I can recommend the hotel

I really liked the Banthai Beach Resort & Spa for the location and great facilities. If you can get a room on the ground floor where you can just step out and head to the pool then that is the one to go for.

The Burasari Resort was also good but the water in the pool was a bit on the chilly side (not much sun).
