Proximity to SAS

Post by stinkytofu » Wed, 07 Apr 2010 8:25 am

We will be relocating from US this summer and will seek SAS for our 5 and 10 year olds. What are some of the more affordable Expat places that are also close (30 min bus ride)? Woodlands is not for us and East Coast is too far. We've heard about Holland Village and Bukit Timah but know nothing about them. Any help is appreciated.

My best advice is to look at Google maps to identify neighborhoods/buildings that are within your budget ('afforable' is such a relative term), 25 kms and forget about 'expat places'. Plenty of expats all around in this area of Singapore and you'll certainly meet more that a few at SAS. Best of luck with your move.

We are also going to move this summer. With our kids going to SAS and hubby working at Harbourfront, we will be looking for housing somewhere midway from both the places.

I'm interested in hearing any good suggestions.
