Compression Garment For Liposuction

Post by Blur » Sun, 28 Mar 2010 2:53 pm

Hi all,

I am wishing if anyone can share with me where we can get any compatible compression garment which the pricing is much more affordable compared to healwithme brand that i read on from website.

I will be heading to Hatyai in May for lipo on my tighes and tummy..

Really wish to seek advise and be prepared before May.

I am wondering if i can get them in Hatyai after the consultation but not sure where to head to too..

Wish to hear from all forumer's comments and advise. :) :) :)

I find it amazing that someone would spend a lot of money on a surgical procedure and then want to scrimp on the followup procedures. Somehow, it just doesn't make much sense to me. If you go out a buy a mercedes car are you going to fill it up which used or cheap oil & petrol? :???:

sundaymorningstaple,

forum is a place for all forumers to share and discuss. i am not trying to find pple to share 'cheapskate' info.

i just wish to find out more, moreover, i believe singapore expats forum is a place where people can discuss and share their experience.

comments from u sound pretty useless and offendsive.

i just typed in the topic with a open heart and it is so surprise to get such reply..

If you will reread what I posted, I just gave a personal opinion. Nothing more. As you said, it's an open forum, so, just like you, I expressed an opinion. You don't have to agree with it.

Hi Blur

You need to wear the garment (s) straight after the procedure for at least 4 weeks. For the first 7 days, you must wear it 24hrs, cannot take it off for showering.

You should really consult your plastic surgeon on this as they should recommend which type of garments are suitable. Since you are having two areas done, different garments may be required for different parts.

The recommended brand is Veronique.

Cheap brands goes out of shape after a few washes and defeats the purpose of what a compression garment is exactly for.

Sorry, I know my question will be out of topic. But can you share, cost aside, why you chose to go Hatyai, instead of doing it locally?

Cos I did considered overseas lipo due to the cheaper costs and its being done by plastics.

But after considering factors, such as follow ups, possible complications, the medical regulations, facilities, hygiene, etc.. I chickened.

Hi lovebear,

I have friends that did locally. It was/is not cheap and some of them have very little diff and some came to gain back their weight X2..
I came to know abt Nara when i read this forum, after some research with my thais friends i then decided to try him, but i guess i will only do lipo with him, i am planning to do my nose in yanhee, but must see how the condition after this lipo.. see if i can bear or not, cause i really scare pain. haha.. :)
