Cheapest botox in Singapore

Post by tigerbalm » Tue, 23 Mar 2010 7:49 pm

HI, does anyone knows of a place that offers reasonably (and transparently) priced botox? I have few friends and we are all looking for a place with good pricing.
Thanks for advice :)

In bangkok 100 units of botox is just $700 or so?

In Singapore 100 units ( NSC ) would be $6000, if its $60 per unit

Think u got the rate wrongly?

Hi sorry I cant pm u as still a newbie.

Why do you choose ever green?
Is the doc really good?

I am super depress now cos I dun seem to get the desired result I wanted..
Plus I think due to the 1st doc my face not very symmetrical..
One side of jaw like abit slimmer than the other..

Then the second doc only jab once per side instd of several tiny jabs..
He claimed same effect and that he use 25units each side..

He said my jaw slimming may have limitation as my jawline quite prominent but then again hard to tell..
I was like wth?!?

I am like gonna give up cos only seeking for short term effect but spent so much but effect not as good as expected.

Do you think technique matters?

I was wondering about calvin chan or david loh..
they are ex rite?

the price I paid at cosmo is 13 per unit but NOT DESIRED EFFECT.
Very bad job cos my face not symmetrical if observe by photo.
was a promo price. actual price is 750.
claimed 25units per side.

And I m super sick of all these clinics who cant be transparent and upfront about the price per unit that they charge and say need to see doc to assess blah blah then they say.

I am going to post whatever I have checked to help everyone despite not getting much info from the info.

I am sure a pissed up girl.

amaris b
750-800+ per session/ 6month topup/ no unit price given

Simply Aesthetics/ 2000 w/o gst for 3 sessions/ choice of 6months topup or do 3 jabs each month and then follow up annually/ work out to be 11.8 per unit

Nu reflections/ initial 800 then top up 600 per session/ 4-6month top up, later on yearly depending on assessment

David loh/ 1600 w/o gst for 2 sessions/ follow up 3-4 month till desired shape then maintenance jabs(duno interval)

Calvin chan/ 800 w/o gst so work out to be 856 per session/ 3month till desired shape then maintenance jabs(duno interval)

See... most duno tell you price per unit..
so ex...
Then I duno if should try out neighbourhood docs as I duno their expertise.

I am looking for a good and reasonable one.
Ultimately its a long term thing..
but most are charging to bleed you dry..

And how to tell if they injecting the right amount as they claimed?

Any above info was correct at only the time I enquired.

Hope I help you guys.

Wah 100units?! Where you injecting?!?!

I had tried a few clinics before too, here's my review:

Optimax (JB), Dr Yip
- this is actually a lasik clinic but Doctor has interest in aesthetic hence he do botox as well. In fact my first few botox was done by him. Nice doctor, caring and patient, but did not go to him anymore because lazy to go in and out of JB. Note: he is same price, if not slightly more exp than singapore clinic

Dr BC NG Aesthetic
- used to be a few clinics, I went to the one in Chinatown Point. Doctor left a orh-cheh mark on my jawline which did not disminish until 1 month later. Deco of clinic looks outdated, don't feel comfortable. Doctor also commented I have slight eyebag (I never notice I have any eyebag) and recommended don't know what laser treatment. Overall verdict: not recommended

Nu reflections, Dr Ivan Phua
- recommended eventhough not the cheapest. Dr Phua is professional, feels comfortable with him

David loh
- did not do botox with him but had a consultation session with him on laser resurfacing procedure. Not friendly, don't seems caring and I don't feel comfortable with him. Will never do any procedure with him.

Calvin chan
- not bad, can try eventhough price is quite steep because of location (wheelock place). Doctor is young but overall he is professional. Recommended.

The one I recommend most is actually Dr. Ivan Phua of Nu Reflections.
Hmmm... what should I do next? Cheekbone reduction maybe?

hi ..i m new here. i m hoping to do some research over here before doing botox. so far i have checked the prices with a few clinics and they ranges from 600 - 800... so far TCS clinic is the only one with the unit price. Should be S$13/unit if i nv rmbr wrongly...considered cheap i guess. however i do not know if the standard and quality is there..thought of Dr Donnald Ng too. Pple say he's good too.
Anyway, for botox on jaw line, how many jabs in total? some says it's only 1 jab on each side, but i heard those with many jabs too.. so which is which..pls help! thanks alot.

in Bangkok, you can get 100 units of botox (made by allergan, USA) for as low as 18 000 thb. the doctors by the american type for USD300 - 350 for 100 units. You can see distributors selling online for this price too. A cheaper grade of botox is the Korean made botox, but doesn't last as long. When you get botox, make sure you check what the doctor is using. sometimes, they charge you so much but you're actually getting korean botox.... which can go as low as USD150 per 100 units.
