Preschools in the Woodlands Area

Post by luvmyboys » Tue, 23 Mar 2010 2:13 am

My husband and I will be in Singapore during the week of April 4th to preview the country before making a decision on relocation. We are hoping to send our son to a local preschool in the Woodlands area, but are unsure of where to start looking. If anyone is sending their child/children to local preschools in the Woodlands area, can you please let me know what your impressions are of that school? (i.e. academics, nurturing teachers, parental involvement, stimulating environment, cleanliness.)

Currently, my son is attending a preschool with extremely nurturing teachers, many different hands on activities daily, a nice outdoor area to play and run around, and an environment where the children learn by doing. I am hoping to find something similar to this. If that's not likely, I am more concerned with nurturing and teacher warmth, than anything academic. I'm hoping to set up some appointments to view schools prior to arriving in Singapore, so as to make the most of our short visit.

I look forward to hearing any advice any of you may have.

Thank you in advance for your help.
