Venue Ideas for My Baby Shower

Post by serenitynow » Mon, 22 Mar 2010 10:12 am

My friends are planning a baby shower for me and we need venue ideas. The restaurant, cafe or multipurpose room should accommodate for baby shower games, about 10-15 people total and hopefully it's in a central location. Would anyone have any suggestions?

Afternoon Tea is always a good idea... I've been to a couple baby showers at the St. Regis and it has always been nice. Have also been to baby showers (for tea) at the Fullerton and Four Seasons - but prefer the St. Regis. My friend is planning a shower for a mutual friend and said "Spruce" at Pheonix Park has a private room and she also mentioned doing the Shangri-la for afternoon tea. (The showers that I've been to in the hotels we've been able to partake in games and opening presents... think they are used to it.) Congratulations!!

Thanks for the congrats and your list is good. Love hotels! I'll mention it to my friends and see what they think.

I just hosted a baby shower for a friend at the St. Regis for high tea. It might be hard for a larger party though as the tables might get split up. We had 10 people and barely fit around 1 of their oval tables. Besides that, it was absolutely perfect and the nice thing about the SR is that no decorations are needed since it is a gorgeous hotel!

would be a bit difficult since a baby shower is prior to the baby's arrival. but nice to throw in your link....
