Lipton Ice commercial

Post by Splatted » Mon, 22 Mar 2010 8:17 am

Ok, you guys have probably all seen it before, but I have a new level of respect for any company that can come up with a commercial that is actually entertaining.

A lot of the tv commercials on these days on Australian TV are just loud, annoying, and even insulting.

anyway, take a peek if you haven't already seen it..

Only thing missing from that one is the palm tree to dance around.

Hey yeah! That's just great. Haven't seen it before. Hughe's the man yeah.... it's almost as good as the "India, incredible India ads". I find myself singing that when it's been on....
Remember that awful "Where the bloody hell are you?" advertisement?
OMG it was even endorsed by the then Prime Minister.....what kind of yobbo society must people think we are. Things like that make me ashamed to be an Aussie, fair dinkum......

Wolverine's anger management classes are really paying off...

Reminds me of Christopher Walken in "Weapon of Choice"

Hey Nakatago, You beat it to me.. :D

Hugh's expressions in this clip reminded me of Christopher Walken. Very similar facial expressions and body movements.

i wouldn't be surprised if it were a tribute to Mr. Walken.

Could very well be.

And they picked the perfect person. Hugh Jackman did the song & dance stint for a while on broadway.

I do know that Wolv-Hugh Jackman does theater. He also hosted a Tony Awards night.

Do a search for "wolverine dancing" and it's all Hugh Jackman stage performances that show up (that lipton commercial is first)!

holy crap; that was creepy.

in a tangentially related note, I find the concept of "premium" bottled water products like evian pretentious. http://www.inhabitat.com/2008/09/25/is- ... iji-water/
