At NTU the international student centre had the letters. They sent out an email saying for you to come and collect it. You had to sign for the letter when you collected it.

Which means, if you are not found wanting by ICA, you might get a letter inviting you to apply for SPR. Otherwise they won't bother. There is a lot of things that will be taken into consideration before they make the offer. Don't forget, they have access to the school records.

Did you had your formal schooling from primary till SP in Singapore ?

Or are you on student visa only for the diploma that you had studied at SP ?

If the former, you should have received letter for PR subject to NS when you turn 13 i.e Sec 1.

If the latter, do not put too much hope unless you are offered employment here.

ysksky wrote:Thanks for the inputs. Yes, Im on student visa only for the diploma and Im under tuition grant students. I signed a deed with the Singapore Government. In return for the benefit of subsidised education, I will be bonded to work in Singapore for three years upon completion of the course.

Im kinda anxious of receiving invitation letter or not. Any experienced/ex-student know how long will they send the invitation letter after graduated?
OK, that clear things up quite abit. I think get the emplyment first. My guess they will do a placement job for you since you sign the bond. Not sure whether WP or EP . Then go from there. Not sure on the invitation letter though
