Children starting school but no dependent's visa

Post by hkfamily » Mon, 15 Mar 2010 10:14 pm

Hi

We are a family relocating to Singapore for the start of the new school year (August 2010, we have a place for both). I would like the children to start the new school year in Singapore but my husband is unable to relocate until 4/6 months later and will be commuting between where we are now and Singapore. Is there something like a study visa for my primary aged children to be on so that we can rent a house and start school? I have searched various things but can't find anything specific to our situation.

Tks

yes you can. your kids will need a student visa and you a LTVP (long term visa pass). this will enable you to stay in singapore and look after the kids in school.
