Change of Employer during PR application

Hi all. I would like to know if someone has experience about this.

I have applied for PR (2nd time) few weeks ago, and now I will be changing company soon. My EP application was successful, just waiting for check-up and so.

I heard from ICA that if my EP is cancelled, so it will be my PR application, but if I change employer, I should notify ICA.

Really I'm not leaving my employer, rather I would transfer between 2 areas of company (boss will be the same, salary will be the same, as example). A company letter explaining this would be useful? Any advice about this?

Since your EP is not canceled just employer details change and you still have a job I am assuming your PR application would be valid.

Yes, it would be a good idea to get a letter of explanation from your employer to address the need for you to change companies (as a part of restructuring?) You still will need to notify ICA about the change so the letter will come in handy.
