Asking for route

Post by germanchan » Fri, 05 Mar 2010 11:53 pm

I'm a visitor and I have very limited experience in Singapore.

Could I just ask how could I travel from Fragrance Hotel in Geylang to Hilton Hotel in Orchard?

1) By MRT? How long would it take?

2) By taxi? How much would it cost & how long would it take?

3) Bus or other options? How is it?

4) The most convenient way from Hilton Hotel to airport (Could this be done within 30 minutes?)

Thanks!
(PS: Detail explanation will be appreciated. Thank you!)

Plug both destinations into google maps and hit 'get directions' via car and public transportation. Voila!

I second that. The alternative http://www.transitlink.com.sg/ptjp.html does not yield optimal solutions as regularly as google.

Fragrance Hotel in Geylang to Hilton Hotel in Orchard? :o  Do you work nights by any chance :)

The most convenient way from Hilton Hotel to airport (Could this be done within 30 minutes?) Yes by taxi depending on the time of day though avoid rush hour price depends on which taxi you jump in..but no more than 35$. MRT no chance .....Don't do it (Rob the Hilton hotel I mean) :D only joking lah! Do have a good time in Geylang and please come back again. Singapore Tourist Office :D
