Really? No one here has any wrinkles around the eye area?

I've tried searching online, most of what info I found were for frown lines and mostly Caucasians.

I'm considering doing this for my eye area and really would appreciate some info on this. Thanks.

My colleague just did botox for crow's feet for her eyes, she paid $200- , you can use that as a gauge when shopping around. :)

My doctor did tiny jabs of botox under the eye and the wrinkles are all gone!!. Best of all, I didn't get paralysis and my muscles were moving as before. i think it looks very natural

I did mine at the National Skin Centre, and it last about 6 months. Can't remember the price, but vaguely remember the derm saying its charged on per unit basis.

Have heard of GPs charging per jab at $20 or so, which may or may not very cost effective.

Have just made an appt at a aesthetic clinic and will feedback when I get the price. :)

hi astrogirl,
i did my botox in prive clinic they're starting price is $400, if i remember it . normally after the botox you have to wait for like 1-2 wks to see the full effect. it will last for like , i think min 6months- max to a year. the result is quite good, don't feel that painful too.can't remember all the details. search for them in the net. hope it helps :)

Hi miraj

thanks for sharing, was there any swelling on the eye area after botox jab? or any discomfort that need a few days rest? Thanks.

I looked up the net, very little info found on eye area botox jab. mostly Caucasian forehead botox and laugh line fillers.

Hi astrogirl,

swelling depends on the individual i guess and how good is the doctor, for my case i got no swelling, some bruises but not that much either coz doctor's hand is quite steady. they did put a topical numbing cream so that i wont feel the injection that much.the doctor told me which part i would expect to have some bruises but to tell you honestly i was surprised i thought it would be a big patch but just few dots from the needle :) expect a little redness.i felt a little bit warm on the area after the procedure but goes off after awhile.next day i dont feel anything unusual just normal.I went to work the following day. the bruise can be covered easily by concealer so not a big problem.then i went back to the clinic for a review after 2 weeks :)
