hi guys,

I have a question regarding finding jobs in singapore. I have a Ph.d degree in nanotechnology from germany and 3 years of postdoctoral experience in one of the university in germany. Total number of publications 10. I am more of less interested to work in companies. Could somebody give me some idea at this point of economic downturn whether its wise to look for a job in singapore?

Also I like to know where to start looking for jobs for my qualification in singapore. Will it be relative easier to find jobs if you have european and american work experience? Cool

Not really. Unless you have some hidden assets that can convince your employer to be. You have no working industry related experience and want to work for a company. Industry and academia are two different worlds and IMHO the best what you might expect is to get an engineering position, worth 60-70% of what you could probably get in an institute.

It should be easier.
