My friends stayed in Fraser Suites when they were there for work. They said its pretty good, but I think its because its right next to the office and they work 18hours/day (and I am not even joking). I think there is a provision shop downstairs that you can buy all the necessity and even some last minute groceries downstairs.

Another one of my friends stayed in a private short-term lease apartment. I think there are quite a few around there and he thought it was better than the Serviced Apartments (felt more at home after a long day of work). He had an ah-ma (maid) to clean his apartment daily and cook for him (its left in the fridge to be heated up when he gets home really late and everything is closed).

I lived in Hanoi for two years and one of the most popular Serviced Apartments (especially for families) was Sedona Suites. It has a great swimming pool, playground and its own shop.
