Bras for women, not girls

Post by Guest » Mon, 25 Oct 2004 10:45 pm

Most of the shops I go to only stock up to cup size B, and they're padded with about 1 inch of foam!! The C cups aren't as pretty, and when I ask for D, or DD, they look like I'm from outer space and bring out something my gran wears.

Other than shopping off the net, can anyone suggest where I can find a proper 80DD or 85D bra? Not just sexy ones - but for sports as well...

Please don't say M&S as I've tried the ones they have, and are bored of the range!!

There was a shop in Specialists center (where John LIttle is) that housed some victoria's secret bras at factory outlet prices. Most of hte sizes were C and D. I am not sure if it is still there or what the name is but you may want to check that out.

There is a Calvin Klein underwear shop in the Paragon. You'll have to ask them to get out the bigger sizes because the ones they have hanging for display are the A cups - look at the styles and then ask them if they have bigger sizes in whatever styles you like. I got a couple of nice looking bras there in a C cup. But, be aware, you'll spend about S$70 or so per bra!

Most Singapore women probably wear a cup B. So as a D cup, I am somewhat of an abnormality. I'm tired of salegirls telling me their biggest cup size ends at C. People like me don't have much choice but to shop at M & S. Even so, only during a sale.

Hello...size D is not so big deal....I know of people with D all their life in Singapore and never had problems getting a bra....you just need to know where. Also...the new generation landscape is changing rapidly......

follow this link to find Blush address which I am VERY certain has D size http://www.tasc.org.sg/shopctr/paragon_dir.php

Recently I browsed an Asian magazine where fortune was read from bra size and shape... Why am I not surprised? There were so many people named there with sizes, C,D,E,F and they are Asian ladies (without plastic surgery as they would be reported since they are public figures).

Also with taller Asians born these days, they are also proportionately larger at the right places with the right nutrition...so I think gone are the days As and Bs will be the majority in the younger generation here......

Let's put it this way, you can only keep up the illusion until a certain point in the relationship...

And while a little padding can look OK, too much of it starts to look fake. Observe the Singapore Girls the next time you're on a SQ plane -- they all appear to have completely immobile sculpted bricks planted on their chest.

So someone who has a b cup is a girl & not a woman???

HOW RUDE ARE YOU! I hope you don't find what you're looking for!

calm down

Oh for heaven's sakes, 'b cup' - calm down! No one is being rude here at all (expect you for wishing the OP doesn't find what she's looking for). It's simply not always very easy to find even B cups, let alone anything bigger. Your womanhood should be fully intact, as no one here is doing any attacking.....

hi guys,

i need your opinion. we're doing a project for my marketing class and we thought we come up with a new product which would be bra for "FULL FIGURE" women, meaning, we would make them not only DD but even larger. We would start from E till whatever the need it. There is my quastion to you: do you think there is a market for such a product? If you find any supporting statistics, I would appreciate it. I already found out that there is over 36% fat women in the US. Any other ideas for extra product? Thanks,

MM
