Therapy Dogs Singapore

Post by woodsdevil » Tue, 14 Jun 2011 5:27 pm

If you are a dog owner and want to volunteer your time to help the less
fortunate along with your dog, join us at Therapy Dogs Singapore (TDS).
TDS is a non-profit voluntary organisation set up by a group of caring dog owners who seek to share the unconditional love and affection of their dogs with society's underprivileged and to provide animal assisted activities (AAA) to meet their physical and emotional needs.

TDS was formed in early 2004 by a group of volunteers, which included professionals, homemakers, retirees and students. We provide regular AAA sessions to seven adopted nursing homes and health institutions, as well as ad hoc AAA visits. Carefully managed Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) programmes are also carried out as often as deemed possible.
