i am looking for other jobs.. about the porn not all porn sites are restricted. im sure there are ways people can see them. and i did name the officemate who watched porn but the manager asked him once and he lied he was only checking his emails, the manager let it go.

it seems no other choice but to bear it.

Jokes, aside. maybe direct confrontation could work... something like

"Dude, did I drop food on my clothes? You keep staring at my breasts"

If I were her, I'd start talking to their crotches. That is if she could do it without laughing. On second though, laughing or giggling would even be better.

The guys, being the obvious dumbarses that they appear to be, would probably be emboldened enough to ask what she was doing, and she could reply that she was doing the same thing they were doing, but was wondering if they were as under-equipped as they appeared to be.

I have to admit I was on the receiving end of "harassment" in the office which was fun for a while, the only problem things tends to goes pear shape and it always ends in tears.

leery guys

Post by DaisyRae » Sat, 13 Mar 2010 5:46 pm

I think a problem that some women encounter in the workplace is that harassment has to be more physical or verbal before you can actually call it harassment. When this guy in the office looks leerily at a woman up and down everytime he sees her alone, I don't think that act alone would suffice as harassment. And what can the woman do? She can't just run to HR and say he's undressing her with his eyes. HR would summon the guy and the guy could just give any excuses why he was looking, eg. There was lint on her blouse.
It's really annoying sometimes that some guys don't even try to hide how they feel. They just think they can do anything they want coz anyway they won't get caught.

Well, when it's all said and done, while there are ways that are all to obvious, I've not met too many women who would rather be overlooked than look over. Regardless of how much they may verbally scream otherwise.

The youtubes were gold.

All men, even those with sub clinical testosterone levels, and some women, are going to eye something that they find visually appealing.

For myself, I like to believe that I am surreptitious.

Pity the poor fool who doesn't have the emotional quotient to tell when his attention is unwanted.

It's fine to be looked over as long as it's at the right place and time. And also, an admiring look is way different from an I'm-imagining-you-in-your-underwear look.

But then, let's turn the table. What if the MEN were given leery looks by their female colleagues? Does it boost men's ego??

I daresay, it wouldn't be just my ego that got a boost! Course at my age, any look is good!

At ANY age, it's a huge boost for a guy's ego if a girl thought of him as eye-candy.
